No automated notary selections.  Unlike other mobile notary companies, our team here at Above Average takes our time to hand select the best notary available for every closing! We use a three-step vetting process that includes review of previous feedback from other title companies and signing services, credential verification, and a personalized confirmation phone call.

During our credential verification process, we will ensure the assigned notary has a valid notary certificate, a notary bond, current Errors and Omission's Insurance, and a current background check. If assigned to a remote online notarization, we will also ensure the notary has a current RON certification.

Our team will call every notary assigned to one of our closings.  During the phone call, we will ensure the notary assigned is familiar with the type of closing they were assigned to.  We will also discuss important preliminary procedures to include closing confirmation with the signers, time and location of closing, scanback requirements, and UPS/FedEx drop off requirements.
